I am so proud of myself that I have been writing a Blog every day for the Blog Challenge. Today, I have hit a wall! Yikes. I am sitting in the hospital OR waiting room while my boyfriend is having surgery for bulging discs in his neck. (Related a MVA)
It could be that I am tired since we had to be here at 5:30am for pre-op registration. I could still be tired from the last 2 weeks of travel. Whatever it is, I am at a loss for what to write, but I wanted to write something to follow through on my goal of writing a Blog for 31 days.
If nothing else, I am taking action and practicing persistence, 2 of the Success Principles that I teach about in seminars that I put on, after being mentored by Jack Canfield, author of the Success Principles and Chicken Soup for the Soul.
While I am here at the very same hospital where I used to work, I am going to Human Resources to see if I can put on a seminar for Nurses on the subject of Burnout: Getting out of it and Preventing it! So in practicing another principle of Ask! Ask! Ask!, I will ask to see if they are interested in the idea. My goal is to teach these principles throughout the hospital from Corporate level down to Janitorial level. These teachings are for everyone! Everyone deserves to learn how to transform from ordinary to extraordinary! When Brian is out of surgery, I will go to HR and see how I can set up a seminar or two!
Even though I didn’t have anything to write about today, I still wrote a Blog. Yay! I followed through. I took action; I practiced persistence; I believed in myself to get it done!
Call to action: Take action anyway, even if you are not sure about what to do. Practice persistence and believe in yourself. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish.
